152nd Kentucky Derby
The annual 'Run for the Roses' at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky comes at the usual first Saturday in May, but this year it's a little early, May 2nd, so readers should be advised to check both the April issue for previews and contenders, and the May issue for Fearless Rick's analysis of the Derby card featuring as many as eight Graded Stakes races.

MLB Players of the Day
There's literally no rest for IdleGuy.com. Well before the NCAA tournament ended, Major League Baseball was underway in Arizona and Florida with the Cactus and Grapefruit Spring Training Leagues. Regular season games actually started late March this year, so every day, MLB Players of the Day in the American and National Leagues have been posted on the Sports Extra pages and will continue throughout the month.

Indianapolis 500
The annual Formula 1 event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is Memorial Day weekend, Sunday, May 24, but there's plenty before the race, like qualifying, pit crew work, and a rundown of the racers and positions. Race coverage on Sunday will leave everybody thankful that Monday is a day off.
