State of the World
Because it just keeps turning...

Every month, idleguy.com attempts to make sense of what matters on planet Earth, which is why this page will become a permanent fixture in subsequent issues.

While idleguy.com strives for completeness and accuracy, there's little chance that we will be able to cover everything (even the biggest news organizations can't do that, even if most of them don't try very hard) or have every story absoutely correct, so it's imperative that readers do their own research and due diligence in order to have informed opinions about the world.

Here's how the world shapes up in March, 2024:

Russia is beginning to get serious about finishing the job in Ukraine. Complete defeat of Ykraine is necessary to bring some sanity back to the world. Maybe the Israelis will stop the genocide, but that's doubtful, How anybody with an ounce of decency can still support Israel is beyond belief.

It's March 26. There are six days left to the month. Hopefully, we'll survive. Sorry for being less than circumspect in my reporting, but this idea came to me mid-month and I did n't rrealize how busy I was going to be. Will work on a better outcome for the April issue.
