📈 BUSINESS & ECONOMY ECONOMY GROWING — SLOWLY The Bank of France reports Q1 2026 GDP growth tracking at 0.2%–0.3%, led by strength in defense and aerospace. Industrial activity has now grown above its long-term average for eight consecutive months. Unemployment is expected to hold steady at 7.8%. Credit rating agency KBRA downgraded France's long-term sovereign rating to AA-, warning that political fragmentation is blocking meaningful fiscal reform.
